Northern Lights cedar saunas start as full 2” x 6” planks of clear, grade A western red cedar that are carefully planed down to create the 1.5” thick walls you’ll see on all of our barrel sauna kits. Quality you just won’t find anywhere else.
With this solid construction, not only does it keep the heat in - but it prevents warping as well, ensuring you’re enjoying your barrel sauna kit for years and years to come!
Every last detail of our cedar barrel saunas comes down to quality. We use 3 stainless steel straps (304L grade) to prove a solid structure support with no chance of the staves warping. Stainless-steel is much more expensive, but will never rust or oxidize the cedar wood.
