Choose this left hand swing door when your sauna opening needs the hinges on the left. It is the same insulated red cedar door with a tempered glass window as our standard model, built and sealed for sauna heat, but hung as a mirror image so it fits openings the right hand version cannot.
When you need a left hand door
Handing comes down to your room, not preference. Face the door from outside the sauna. If the only place the hinges can go is the left wall, or the door has to open out to your left to clear a bench, a heater or a walkway, this is the version that fits. Order the wrong hand and the door fouls your layout, so it is worth checking twice before you buy.
How to confirm the handing
From outside, looking at the closed door: hinges on the left edge, handle on the right, opening outward and to the left. If that picture matches your opening, this door is correct. If the hinges need to sit on the right instead, order the right hand version.
Same door, mirrored
Everything else is identical to the standard model. Solid red cedar slab, insulated core, tempered glass window, pre-hung in the jamb with the gasket and outward-swing hinges fitted. Sauna-rated hardware that shrugs off humidity. Standard sauna dimensions, so it fits our barrel saunas and pre-cut kits, and retrofits where the rough opening lines up.
